Dear Senior Class and Parents,
As we approach the end of the school year, we wanted to remind everyone of two important upcoming dates for our seniors:
Baccalaureate Service – Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the church. This is a special ceremony to celebrate our seniors, and attendance is expected. We encourage all families to join us for this meaningful occasion.
Senior Graduation – Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM. This is the culmination of years of hard work, and we are excited to celebrate our seniors’ accomplishments. Please be sure to mark this date on your calendars!
Both events are significant milestones, and we kindly ask for the full participation of our senior students. Your attendance at these ceremonies is essential for creating lasting memories and honoring your achievements.
Thank you for your attention to these important dates. We look forward to celebrating with you all soon!

The Rochelle ISD recently received notification from the TEA stating that our Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) system has received approval for the 4th straight year. With that approval we have several new teachers that have now received a TIA designation. We are proud to share that Mrs. Michelle Allgood, Mrs. Sterling Roddie, and Ms. Kelby Doughty all received a recognized designation; Mrs. Brandy Cavness received a Master designation. These talented group of educators join previously named TIA designated teachers: Mr. Matt Maciel, Mrs. Stephanie Arnold, Mrs. Angie King, Mrs. Jamie Fields, and Mrs. Karen McWilliams. Congratulations to all of these educators on a job well done; we appreciate the efforts of our principal, Mr. Feist, in amassing and analyzing all of the data required for this program. For those that do not know, the Teacher Incentive Allotment is a Texas-sponsored program that provides outstanding teachers financial incentives based on teacher observations and student growth scores. Rochelle ISD was the first district in all of Region 15 to have a fully approved TIA System.

The Rochelle ISD is hosting the spring safety meeting this upcoming Monday at 4:30PM in the faculty lounge. If you would like more information on how to join this committee, please contact Dr. Fields at mfields@rochelleisd.net.

Our Kindergarten class has completed another IXL chart. We LOVE all their hard work and efforts! Way to go, Kinder!

The Rochelle ISD Board of Trustees approved the school calendar for the 2025-2026 school year at this week's regularly scheduled meeting. After receiving feedback from parents, faculty, and staff, the approved calendar for next year has a few notable changes.
One big change is the half day before the start of the Christmas holiday that has been changed to a full day instead of a half day. Another major change is the extension of the school day to meet state instructional minutes rules; for next school year our school day will start at 7:50AM and our school day will conclude at 4:21PM.
Our calendar continues to operate on a four-day school week with school starting the first Monday in August and the final day of school taking place the week before Memorial Day.
