Calling on our Hornet Family! Our summer renovation projects are starting to wrap up and we are in need of volunteers to help set up the building for the new year! We will be able to get into the building for the first time to start putting together classrooms and final cleanup tomorrow starting around 12pm! We are in need of as many helpers to tackle our normal summer cleaning as well as cleaning after renovating! Please join us anytime after 12 Wednesday to help! We will also be preparing the school everyday Thursday- Sunday from 10am to 10pm….. we would love to see you there! If you would like to bring mops/steam mops and vacuums (for tile), cleaning supplies, we are hoping to swarm our building with as many people who could spare time to help us get set up for the best year yet!!!

We have a busy week with student registration taking place both Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5pm-7pm in the cafeteria. We will also be registering students throughout the day on Thursday. We have our Meet the Teacher scheduled for Thursday, July 31. We will begin with a brief but important meeting with parents and teachers at 6pm in the cafeteria; our new principal, Mrs. Wilson, will be discussing important changes for the school year. During our quick meeting at 6pm we will also talk about the Title Programs at Rochelle ISD. Parents and students will be dismissed at 6:30pm to the main buildings for Meet the Teacher.

Throughout this week we are continuing to work to complete our various renovation projects that are a part of the 2024 Bond Proposition. We are eager to show parents and students these renovations and all that we have done this summer. We also, though, understand that there remains a lot of projects to accomplish, so we may, understandably, have to be flexible with our Meet the Teacher program as we put the finishing touches on our classrooms.

For students and families interested, there is still time to join the Hornet Family. Please stop by registration this week if you are interested and/or fill out the “2025-2026 Transfer Request Form” at the top of our homepage at www.rochelleisd.net. We look forward to seeing all of our students (both returning and new) the first day of school on Monday, August 4th. The school day this year officially begins at 7:50am and ends at 4:21pm. #ChooseRochelle

Rochelle ISD wants to welcome everyone BACK-TO-SCHOOL!!! Here is some important information for the upcoming 25-26 school year. We are excited to see everyone.

As we approach the start of the 2025-2026 school year, our site-based and safety committees meet over the next two weeks - anyone is eligible to join these committees. Registration and Meet the Teacher are just a few weeks away! There is still time to seek a transfer to Rochelle ISD - all you have to do is complete the 2025-2026 Transfer Request Form at www.rochelleisd.net
