Dear parents,
I hope this letter finds you well. We want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your continued support in ensuring your child's regular attendance at school. As we roll into the 13th week of school, we want to emphasize the importance of consistent attendance and its positive impact on your child's education.
Regular attendance plays a vital role in your child's academic success. It allows them to engage in daily learning activities, participate in classroom discussions, and build strong relationships with their teachers and peers. Every school day missed is a missed opportunity for growth and learning.
We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment where your child can thrive, and we believe that your partnership in maintaining good attendance is crucial. Consistent attendance not only helps your child academically but also instills valuable life skills, such as responsibility and time management, which will benefit them in the future.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes lead to absences, but we kindly ask for your cooperation in minimizing these interruptions to your child's education. We encourage you to schedule family vacations and medical appointments on Fridays and during school breaks whenever possible.
To further motivate and recognize our students for their excellent attendance, we will conduct random drawings for prizes at the end of each nine weeks.
If you have any concerns or face challenges regarding your child's attendance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to support you and your child in every way possible.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. Together, we can ensure that every day counts in their journey toward success.
Sincerely,
Chayden Feist
Principal
Rochelle ISD
