The Hornet Community has a busy week ahead of us. On Monday, families that were not able to enroll and register students can do so in the front office during the day. We will have a special site-based committee meeting Monday at 4pm in the teacher’s lounge to discuss campus needs - anyone is able to attend. Also on Monday our new principal, Mr. Feist, will host a community-wide meeting at 6pm in the cafeteria and then we have Meet the Teacher starting at 6:30pm. Our first day of school is Tuesday with classes starting at 7:55am (breakfast will be served in the cafeteria from 7:00am to 7:50am)! This Friday we host Meet the Hornets and a volleyball tournament in the new gym. #ChooseRochelle
Rochelle ISD is registering students until 7pm tonight (Wednesday) in the cafeteria. We will have registration again this next Monday (7/31). If you need to register at an alternate time, please call our office. Come on out and take a look at our new reading bus. #ChooseRochelle

Rochelle ISD enrollment and registration for all Hornets (both returning Hornets and new Hornets) will take place in the Rochelle ISD cafeteria from 5PM to 7PM next Tuesday, July 25th, and next Wednesday, July 26th. Parents can also register their students on Monday, July 31 from 8:30AM to 11:30AM and from 1:00PM to 3:30PM in the front office. Students and families new to the district will need to bring their student’s social security card as well as the student’s birth certificate and a parent ID. Families interested in learning more about our top-ranked school at Rochelle are welcome to attend any of these sessions to learn more about us and our school community. Our personally designed four-day school week model will be continuing this fall; our first day of school is set for August 1st. Our 2022-2023 school year was nothing less than phenomenal - our shared goals, philosophies, and campus culture remain centered on student safety and student achievement. If you want to learn more about the opportunities that await students at Rochelle ISD, please give us a call or stop by our campus anytime. Rochelle ISD is looking to fill both a maintenance worker position as well as a custodial position over the next two weeks. Rochelle ISD will be hosting a Site-Based Decision-Making Committee meeting in the teacher's lounge on July 31st at 4PM (before Meet the Teacher). Anyone interested in joining this committee is welcome to attend to learn more. We will be discussing student safety, instructional waivers, and the District Improvement Plan.
