We got news that we did not want to hear. They canceled day two of the State Tournament. So the final results are based on day 1 totals. Merek finished his high school golf career tied for the fifth best 1A golfer in the state. Pretty amazing! Gonna miss you next year.
🌟 Senior Spotlight Miranda Jane Penn! 🌟
Merek finished yesterday tied for 5th. He is 3 strokes out of getting on the podium at 3rd place. He is 5 stokes out from winning the State Title. Weather will hopefully cooperate and we will get to play round 2. It looks very promising. Send good thoughts and well wishes for Merek today. Great day to be a Hornet!
We are excited to invite our junior high students and their families to the Rochelle ISD Junior High Awards Ceremony scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 6, at 6PM in the Rochelle ISD Cafeteria. Also, we are excited to have our elementary students and their families join us on Thursday, May 8, at 6PM. Don't forget that the Talent Show takes place directly after the elementary awards ceremony on Thursday, May 8. We look forward to recognizing all of our students this week on an amazing job during this school year and watching all those that have entered the talent show.
