PTC is hosting the Homecoming Dance after the varsity football game this Friday night until 11:30pm. The cost of entry is $5 per student (drinks and snacks will be provided by PTC). Students will need to provide parent contact information to PTC at the door.

Also, a few of the theater kids got to act out a book for 2nd grade yesterday in the library. They are in the drama unit right now and Ms. Brodbeck wanted to incorporate the high schoolers into their library time.

Red Ribbon Week and Homecoming are both next week. We have our community-wide pep rally scheduled for next Wednesday, September 21, in the evening; we will have a parade to kick off the pep rally at 7:30. At the parade, each class can enter a single float (classes can work on preparing and designing their floats after school any day this week and next week); the class with the best float will win an ice cream party. At the community-wide pep rally our cheerleaders (and their spirit sisters), football team, and band will all be present as we prepare for our big homecoming football game against Evant (scheduled for next Friday night at 7:30). The Homecoming festivities will take place Friday before our Homecoming game starting at 6:45. Our senior class will serve as our homecoming court, and we will also honor the duke and duchess from the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades.

The annual Rochelle cookie dough fundraiser officially begins today, September 13, and will conclude on October 5. Each cookie dough tub can make approximately 48 cookies. The cost of each tub is $20 (cash or checks written to Rochelle ISD). Our faculty, staff, and students appreciate your support with this fundraiser (funds are used to purchase rewards for students, pay for field trips, purchase need supplies, and much much more).
