TXDOT came to deliver a special gift to our seniors yesterday. The senior class’s video on safe driving won third place in a recent competition. For their efforts the class was awarded $1250 for their project graduation! #ChooseRochelle

The Rochelle ISD Senior Class is hosting a county-wide talent show on Monday, May 23, from 6PM-9PM in the Rochelle ISD Cafeteria. The talent show is open to all students PK-12 in the county. The entry fee is $10 for each performer or performing group. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Admission to the talent show is $5 per person with all proceeds going to the Project Graduation Fund for the Class of 2022.

With just a few weeks left in this school year, we wanted to share a couple of important pieces of information with our Hornet Community.
-We have high school End of Course Tests that are scheduled to take place next week (Biology EOC next Tuesday, Algebra I EOC next Wednesday, and US History EOC next Thursday).
-One STAAR exam (Grade 8 Science) takes place next Thursday; the rest of the STAAR exams will take place the week of May 9th.
-Our High School Awards (for UIL Academics, FFA, and Athletics) will take place on May 12th at 6PM. The PTC hosts this wonderful event annually and will provide dinner for our students and their guests.
-We have several field trips and award trips scheduled over the next several weeks as well (check our calendar on the app or website for more information on dates).
-Our final day of school is Tuesday, May 24. This day is a full day of school (not a half-day).
