The Rochelle ISD HS Academic UIL Team performed amazingly well at the district meet and came away with a first place finish at the district competition for the second year in a row! Congratulations to all of these students and their coaches. The team travels to Waxahachie next week for the Region UIL Meet. Awesome work Hornets!
Regional bound! Rochelle cleaned up at district golf. 1st place girls team, 1st place boys team and the number 1 medalist. Sydney got 2nd overall. Merek got 1st overall and Tomas got 3rd overall. I'm proud of these gals and guys and just as proud of their teammates that didn't get to advance. They all put in the work and this will be a dominant team for years to come.
Don't forget, the Ladies Mercury Club will be selling goodies to support the Rochelle Seniors. Sales will be during scheduled lunch times.
🚨There will be no early morning practice tomorrow (4/6) for the JH boys and girls! Congratulations to all those that competed at the district track meet!
Don't forget that today is an early release day due to the JH District Track Meet. Students may be picked up (via the carpool line) starting at 12:00PM today. Elementary students will eat lunch at the normal times before the end of the day. Our JH and HS students can eat lunch at the normal time (starting at 12:05PM) or may leave campus. Busses will leave campus at approximately 12:30PM. Please contact the school with any questions (325-243-5224).
Due to regional tennis RISD regular scheduled April Board meeting has to be moved to April 19th. Good luck to all Hornets at regional tennis and golf.

Golf team traveled to Gatesville for the Ogelsby Golf Tournament this week. Girls got second place as a team and Klee got 3rd place individual. The boys won first as a team and Kelton won 1st place individual. These kids have worked really hard. We travel to San Saba for district next week.
Here is the schedule for tomorrow's HS track meet in Menard. The two mile will start at 8:30, field events at 9:15, and the running at 12:30!
