Rochelle ISD will have a late start on Tuesday, January 16. School will begin at 10AM; all students are to report to their first period class. Buses will run their routes two hours later than normal. We will not be serving breakfast tomorrow due to the late start. District administrators will continue to monitor the weather and conditions.

Keep calm and winter on! ❄️☃️

With Rochelle under a National Weather Service winter weather advisory and a freeze warning, the Rochelle ISD administration has cancelled classes for Monday, January 15. This includes all before and after school activities. The extremely low temperatures and wind chills along with localized hazardous conditions on roads present concerns that we want to proactively respond to. We will continue to monitor the weather and conditions and respond as necessary to those conditions to ensure that all members of the Rochelle ISD community are kept safe.

Hey Rochelle family, just a heads up: drop-off tomorrow morning is in front of the school. Students head straight to first period; no breakfast will be served. Stay safe, and we'll keep you posted on any updates.

Out of abundance of caution, Rochelle ISD will delay opening tomorrow, Monday January 15th. Classes will begin at 10AM with buses running two hours later than normal. This will provide us with more time to evaluate conditions early in the morning and make further adjustments if necessary based on overnight weather conditions.
