FAFSA Night for the ***NEW 202402025 FAFSA*** Form. Tuesday, January 16th, 5PM-7PM. Representatives from Ranger College will be here to help answer any questions as we tackle the new FAFSA Form. Completing the FAFSA form is a graduation requirement (TEC, ยง28.0256) and required for many scholarships. The 24-25 FAFSA form opens December 31st.
This Thursday (December 21), our campus will be practicing the crisis drill as well as the evacuation drill and reunification drill. Our teachers and staff will meet this week to discuss our plans to prepare for these drills. Over the last year, our district has invested a great amount of resources into enhancing our campus security systems. Given this, threats should not be able to enter into the campus with the security systems we have in place. After we complete the crisis drill, our students will be escorted to the new gym and we will leave campus for the districtโs designated reunification site at the East Sweden Community Center.
Parents can pick up their students from the East Sweden Community Center (elementary and secondary students) starting at 11:00AM on Thursday. Students that are not picked up will be taken back to campus at 11:45AM. Once back on campus, high school students that drive (and their siblings if they transport younger siblings) will be able to leave campus. All other students will eat lunch on campus and can be picked up anytime between 11:45AM and 12:30PM from the cafeteria. Our buses will depart from campus at approximately 12:30PM. Our teachers and staff, as we have always done, will debrief the drills when we return to campus and will work to make modifications that enhance our crisis and evacuation procedures.
The map below shows the routes/roads parents should use in order to pick up their students on Thursday. Parents should come to East Sweden via County Road 412 to pick up their students; all vehicles will use County Road 414 to get back to Highway 190.
Please contact the school at 325-243-5224 if you have any questions.

Parents,
Per our grading guidelines, for students in grades 3โ12, cumulative semester exams will be given at the conclusion of the fall semester (next week). Semester exams will account for 15% of a studentโs semester grade. Some exams may exceed the 50-minute class period; therefore, we will implement a semester exam-blocked schedule.
