We are excited for our UIL Social Studies team (Jason Morgan, Quaid Rankin, Jimmy Williams, and Haven Smith) that is competing at the UIL Academic State Meet this Saturday. Congratulations to these awesome students, their coach, Mr. Ewert, and our UIL Coordinator, Mrs. Turk!

The Lady Hornets (Anna Stidham, Brooke Cox, Kendall Morton, Trinity Lewis) represented Rochelle extremely well at the Regional track meet this weekend. Although our track season fell one step short of where we wanted to end up, these four young ladies competed hard and I am beyond proud of the accomplishments they made this season.

Regional Track Update!!!
We were informed tonight at the coaches meeting that there is a strong possibility that the field events scheduled for Friday will be moved to Saturday because of the strong possibility of rain. We were told that they will do everything in their power to still run the prelims even if that means pushing the start time for the running events back. However, if rain falls as predicted, all field events will be on Saturday.
If that happens, the first round of field events will be at 10:00am and the second round will be at 1:00pm.
We won’t know for certain until probably around 2:00-4:00pm tomorrow.
I will update as soon as we know more.
