Here are the track schedules for this week’s junior high and high school district meets! High school will compete in Menard on Wednesday, while the junior high will compete in Eden on Thursday! Let's go Hornets!
We are so proud of these young men and women. The girls and boys golf team has taken home the District Title for the third year in a row. We had a huge day in Eden. They won in dominant fashion. The boys won by 223 stokes over second place. The girls won by 183 strokes. Our number 2 boys team came in third. Merek won the individual district title, Kelton took 2nd and Bobby Cole came in third. On the girl's side MJ won the individual district title, Klee took 2nd and Kaylee came in 3rd. Jayce punched his ticket to regionals as a medalist. Next these golfers will participate in the regional tournament at Maxwell Golf Course in Abilene, Tx April 14th thru the 17th. It's a great day to be a Hornet!!!
This Thursday, April 3rd, will be an early release day due to the Junior High District Track Meet in Eden, Texas. Please plan accordingly to ensure your child is picked up on time. Thank you for your understanding, and good luck to our student-athletes competing in the meet!

Dear Parents, Please be aware of the updated morning student drop-off location for this Thursday, April 3rd. Due to high traffic from construction workers and concrete trucks on 5th Street, as well as in the area between the daycare and cafeteria, we kindly ask that all families enter on 6th Street. Please drop off students at the crosswalk, which is marked as the designated drop-off area on the attached map. Thank you for your cooperation!

The Hornets are headed to Menard on Wednesday, April 2nd, for the District Track Meet! Come out and show some support for these athletes!
The Rochelle ISD UIL Academic Team competed in the district 12A meet yesterday, Wednesday, March 26 in Eden. We are very proud to share that our UIL Academic Team won first place at the district meet! We are very proud of all of our students and their sponsors and wish them all the best of luck as they advance to the Regional UIL competition in a few weeks.
Garrett Nalley won his first rodeo of the 2025 Rodeo seasons with a 76 point ride in Refugio Tx. Way to go Garrett!!!

Shout out to our 1st and 2nd graders who ran the best times in their class on Tuesday! 🏅 Our Elementary Hornets are working hard in PE and mastering the ins and outs of track! Be on the lookout for more track results as many of our Hornets, from 1st through 6th grade, are competing in Pee Wee track this year! Let’s go Hornets!

These amazing young men and women had a pretty special day on the golf course. The girls are currently in 1st place as a team leading the second place team by 100 strokes. Hadlee is currently the second place medalist. The boys are in 1st as well leading second place by 141 strokes. Our #2 boys team is trailing second place by 16 strokes. Jayce is currently the second place medalist with Chris in the hunt. Great day to be a Hornet!
At the regularly meeting of the board of trustees last Wednesday, the Rochelle ISD Board of Trustees approved a change to the 2024-2025 school calendar due to a date change of the junior high district track meet. The early release day scheduled originally on April 2 has now been moved to April 3. Therefore, April 2, 2025 is now a full day of school for all students at Rochelle ISD while April 3, 2025 is now an early release day (with release taking place at 12:30PM).
