Join us for tonight's Christmas music program 🎅

This Thursday (December 19), our campus will be practicing the crisis drill as well as the evacuation drill and reunification drill. Our teachers and staff will meet this week to discuss our plans to prepare for these drills. Over the last two years, our district has invested a great amount of resources into enhancing our campus security systems. Given this, threats should not be able to enter into the campus with the security systems we have in place. After we complete the crisis drill, our students will be escorted to the new gym and we will leave campus for the district’s NEW designated reunification site at the Heart of Texas Events Center. The address for the Heart of Texas Events Center is 804 San Angelo HWY, Brady, TX 76825.
***NOTE THAT THE REUNIFICATION SITE HAS CHANGED TO THE HEART OF TEXAS EVENTS CENTER***
Parents can pick up their students from the Heart of Texas Events center starting at 10:15AM on Thursday. To help with the flow of traffic and keep the area safe, we are asking parents to not arrive before 10:15AM. Students that are not picked up will be taken back to campus at 11:30AM. Once back on campus, high school students that drive (and their siblings if they transport younger siblings) will be able to leave campus. All other students will eat lunch on campus and can be picked up anytime between 11:45AM and 12:15PM from the cafeteria. Our buses will depart from campus at approximately 12:15PM. Our teachers and staff, as we have always done, will debrief the drills when we return to campus and will work to make modifications that enhance our crisis and evacuation procedures. The map shows the routes/roads parents should use in order to pick up their students on Thursday.

Our Rochelle FFA represented Rochelle well at the county show.Hadlee Cavness showed rabbits. Kaylee and Brooklyn Arnold showed pigs. Trey Evans showed angora goats and presented an ag mech project. Kelton Williams, Justin Lopez, Gunner King, and Jayce McCormick presented an ag mech project. Colt Powell presented animal projects as well. We are so proud of these young men and women.
