At the August 15 meeting, the Rochelle ISD Board of Trustees met in special session to approve the budget as presented, set the new tax rate (the M&O rate is $0.7389 and the I&S rate is $0.1500) of $0.8889, and to order a Voter-Approval Tax Ratification Election (VATRE).
