Rochelle School is a PreK-12 1A school in central Texas (a 10-minute drive from Brady, Texas). Our total enrollment is a little over 200 students annually. We are a small rural school built on traditional country values. Our students perform very well on state assessments and in extracurricular activities. Rochelle ISD uses an innovative 4-day workweek model; teachers and students have off all Fridays with the exception of the first Friday each month! Rochelle ISD is the only school in Region 15 that has applied for and has been approved to receive Teacher Incentive Allotment performance funding that recognizes the efforts of effective, master teachers; all teachers financially benefit from this program, and teachers that receive a distinction receive additional financial awards.

HIGH SCHOOL AG TEACHER (11 Month Contract)

We are seeking a High School Ag Science teacher that will teach multiple sections of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resource classes. Candidates that have experience with the FFA program as well as a familiarity with post-secondary welding, machinery, and animal science classes are especially encouraged to apply. Our district can financially assist you in obtaining any certifications and programs that will provide you with the credentials to teach dual credit welding classes. Multiple stipends (including some sizeable UIL stipends) are available to this position.

State Certification (or the ability to acquire it over the course of the year) is required for the position. Salary is commensurate with experience. Aside from the opportunity to receive stipends, the district pays $225 toward insurance, offers $500 for 20+ year veteran teachers, the possibility of a distinction Christmas Bonus, air-medical family coverage, and an inexpensive school employee daycare. Our district is also participating in the Teacher Incentive Allotment - we are the first district in Region 15 with a fully approved system and awarded over $100,000 to teachers in 2021-2022.

SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER & BOYS COACH

Rochelle ISD has an opening for a social studies teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. This position comes with coaching duties (possible defensive coordinator / possible head boys basketball). Coach duties will extend to all boys sports (including track). Our community strongly supports our programs prides itself on academic and extracurricular achievements.

Candidates that have experience with UIL Science and have a desire to teach AP or dual credit science classes are encouraged to apply. Multiple stipends (including some sizeable UIL stipends) are available to this position.

ELEMENTARY TEACHER

We are seeking an elementary teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. This position is for an upper elementary teacher opening; the candidate selected for this job will be placed on a full-year contract. State Certification (or the ability to acquire it over the course of the year) is required for the position. Our teachers use proven systems such as Eduphoria, IXL, Amplify, and iStation; we offer great support if you are unfamiliar with these systems. Our classrooms are equipped with document cameras and wireless tablets. We are a 1-to-1 campus, and each teacher has a laptop as well as each student.

We will use the state-provided salary schedule for the 2021-2022 school year. Various stipends exist for UIL Academic competitions and other extracurricular activities and duties. DAYCARE ATTENDANT

We are looking to hire an additional team member for the 2022-2023 school year to join our team in our school district's daycare facility. Rochelle ISD offers affordable daycare to all of the district's employees. Both infants and toddlers (up until the age of 4) of Rochelle employees are eligible to attend. Candidates will be certified or able to receive any certification needed to be employed in a daycare. Candidates with daycare experience and/or experience managing a daycare are highly encouraged to apply.
