Rochelle School is a PreK-12 1A school in central Texas (a 10-minute drive from Brady, Texas). Our total enrollment is a little over 200 students annually. We are a small rural school built on traditional country values. Our students perform very well on state assessments and in extracurricular activities. Rochelle ISD uses an innovative 4-day workweek model; teachers and students have off all Fridays with the exception of the first Friday each month! Rochelle ISD is the only school in Region 15 that has applied for and has been approved to receive Teacher Incentive Allotment performance funding that recognizes the efforts of effective, master teachers.

SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER & PE COACH

Rochelle ISD has an opening for a social studies teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This position will come with coaching duties (PE classes). Our community strongly supports our programs and prides itself on academic and extracurricular achievements. State Certification (or the ability to acquire it over the course of the year) is required for the position. We are seeking a motivated teacher that is ready to continue helping our students grow and add to the gains they have experienced over the last several years.

Our district salary schedule is competitive and includes competitive stipends. Our district is also received approval for our Teacher Incentive Allotment plan from TEA which rewards teachers financially for their efforts in the classroom. Aside from the opportunity to receive stipends, the district pays $225 toward insurance, offers $500 for 20+ year veteran teachers, the possibility of a distinction Christmas Bonus, air-medical family coverage, and an inexpensive school employee daycare. TEACHER

Rochelle ISD is accepting applications for teacher positions. Specific assignments are dependent upon campus-need and openings. Individuals with prior teaching experience are encouraged to apply. This position may come with coaching duties dependent upon availability, need, and experience. Other coaching duties are possible depending on experience. We are currently looking for substitute teachers and instructors to create a pool of possible substitutes for the 2023-2024 school year. Substitutes already with the district need not re-apply.
